IELTS Writing Task- 2(Argument Writing) by Mohammad Faysal Hossain
In the future, more people will choose to go on holiday in their own country and not travel abroad on holiday. Do you agree or disagree?
You should write at least 250 words.
It is generally acknowledged that native countries will be more prioritized in the days to come than the overseas ones when it comes to holiday trips for people. This matter is generating a lot of controversies lately. While many of us speak strongly for this, the opponents are also firm in their opinions.
Motivated by certain factors with solid ground, I am inclined to agree with this statement. To delve deeper, an elaboration is essential.
On the one hand, certain factors may instigate people to visit the places of a country they belong to. To begin with, shortage of time and money can get someone to roam around such places which are not beyond the border of a state. I think, people will be more workaholic in future to maintain their economic and social status and for this, arranging foreign tours will become less of a possibility as they require more time and money. Moreover, indoor recreational activities available in own cities are becoming much more popular, nowadays, among many people as they generally remain tired after passing many hectic workdays which even don’t let them think of going abroad. In addition, many native holiday resorts, at present, offer exclusive entertaining opportunities such as high-tech parks, indoor play grounds and so on. These dramatically reduce the number of international tourists of a country.
On the other hand, there are some crucial reasons, too, which make people think to plan an overseas trip on holidays. Very importantly, reading different types of travel stories, watching and browsing many vlogs often create an urge among the seasoned travelers to plan a holiday trip beyond their country border. To think more of it, we can also find many individuals who just visit other countries to keep pace with the rage of the day.
In conclusion, it can be said that although people still find it interesting to visit other countries, this trend will not sustain in the near future as they have to struggle a lot in this competitive world to survive.
